About Venusoma
A calmer, more private way through pregnancy.
Venusoma is being built to bring the everyday parts of pregnancy — gentle
movement, clear week-by-week education, calming rest and private reflection —
into one thoughtful place, reviewed before it reaches you and designed to
respect how personal this time is.
Our mission
Pregnancy already asks a lot. We want the app around it to feel calm,
honest and genuinely supportive — never a source of pressure, tracking or
alarm. Venusoma is designed to help you find the right kind of support for
the day you are having, with clear boundaries about what it is and is not.
Who is building it
Dr. Rekha K. V.
Clinical Lead & Consulting Obstetrician
- MBBS
- DNB — Obstetrics & Gynaecology
- 14+ years of clinical experience
Dr. Rekha leads Venusoma’s clinical review and provides
professional telehealth consultations by appointment — assessing the
accuracy, boundaries and appropriateness of pregnancy education and
movement content before it is released, and offering personalised
medical guidance during booked consultations.
Aditya Gaikwad
Founder — Product & Technology
Having worked with more than 30 startups, Aditya brings extensive
experience across consumer products, technology communities and
early-stage execution. His previous role was with Iron Fish, a
privacy-focused crypto startup that raised $27.7 million in Series A
funding led by Andreessen Horowitz, with participation from Sequoia
Capital and other prominent investors. The Iron Fish team was later
acquired by Coinbase to advance privacy technology for Base.
Aditya has also been accepted into Google’s TPU Research Cloud
program and the Sarvam AI Startup Program. He designed and built
Venusoma from the ground up, bringing together specialists who share
his commitment to creating better healthcare experiences.
How content is reviewed
Venusoma separates writing content from approving it. Education and movement
guidance passes through the appropriate review before release:
- Obstetric review
- Prenatal-movement review
- Cultural & wellbeing review
- Content production & quality assurance
Content still under review is not shown as approved content.
How Venusoma works
App-based education and wellbeing experiences support the everyday journey.
Personalised medical guidance is provided during a booked consultation with
a qualified medical professional.
The app itself does not make automated diagnoses or automated triage
decisions, and telehealth consultations are scheduled separately, subject to
availability and applicable consultation terms. In an emergency, contact your
local emergency services.
